At ARLEX, we continue to invest in technology to improve our production processes and ensure the quality of every finish. The addition of a new HOMAG edge-banding line reflects our commitment to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.
Pre-acceptance of the new edge-banding line
As part of the acquisition process, members of our team travelled to HOMAG’s headquarters in Schopfloch, Germany, to carry out the pre-acceptance of the machine. The visit provided an opportunity to review its operation alongside the manufacturer’s technical team and explore its potential for our production processes.
Pre-acceptance is a verification stage carried out before delivery to check that the machinery meets the agreed requirements. It is also an opportunity to share knowledge and prepare for its integration into the factory’s processes.
A further step in modernising our factory
Following the visit, the new edge-banding line has arrived at our ARLEX facilities, where work is underway to bring it into operation in time for our 2027 projects.
With this addition, we continue to modernise our production equipment, with the aim of improving precision, efficiency and control over finishes in the projects we manufacture.
